| Portland teachers just went on strike on November 1 to win the Portland schools educators and students deserve. Nation Education Association (NEA) President Becky Pringle said “I’m so proud of our teachers in Portland, Oakland, Los Angeles and all across this country who are standing up and using collective bargaining for the common good.” This past October, the Oregon Education Association (OEA) hosted a convention hosting Bargaining for the Common Good on an opening panel with OEA educators and national leaders, as well as workshops for OEA members to put Bargaining for the Common Good into action! |
